How To Make Junglee Grill Sandwich - Mumbai Style Recipe

Mumbai Street Style Recipe - Junglee Grill Sandwich


A  well known snack recipe from Mumbai. This sandwich is loaded with loads of vegetables, cheese and flavors.

Ingredients:
Bread (White or Brown) - 6 slices

Vegetables:
Onion - 1 medium size, finely chopped
Cucumber - 1 medium size, finely chopped
Carrot - 1 Pieces, finely chopped
Tomato - 1 Piece, finely chopped
Garlic - 4 cloves of Garlic, crushed or finely chopped
Corn Boiled - 3 tbsp 
Bell Pepper - 1 Piece, finely chopped

Herbs:
Coriander (Dhania) - Chopped (as required)
Mint (Pudina) - Chopped (as required)
Chilli Flakes or Chilli Powder - 2 Pinches
Sandwich Masala - 1/2 tbsp

Sauces:
Schezwan Sauce - 1 tbsp
Mayonnaise - 1 1/2 tbsp
Butter - As required
Cheese (Processed) - As required
Salt - To taste 


Method of Preparation:

Step 1
Pre heat the oven at 180 degree celcious

Step 2
In a large size bowl add Schezwan Sauce, Mayonnaise, Chilli Flakes or Chilli Powder, Sandwich Masala, Butter, Cheese, Salt.

Step 3
Add all the vegetables in the same bowl and mix it well

Step 4
Apply butter on both sides of the bread slices and place it in the pre-heated oven for 5 minutes

Step 5
Spread the filling mixture on the bread slice and place another slice on-top of it.

Step 6
Place raw vegetables like cucumber, tomato and onion on the slice and place another layer of bread on top.  

Step 7
Add grated cheese on the top layer of the bread slice and place it in the oven until cheese melts.

Step 8
Take the sandwich out of the oven and garnish it with ketchup.

Your yummy Junglee Sandwitch is ready to serve!
