Chutney made out of peanut / groundnut is healthy and appetizing with multiple health benefits. This recipe is highly palatable; hence you can consume this chutney with almost all appetizers and different main courses.

Ingredients:
Vegetables:
Groundnut / Peanut – 1 Cup
Garlic – 4-5 Cloves   
Onion – 1 medium sized, chopped
Red Chillies – As required
Curry Leaves – As required

Others:
Salt (White or Himalayan Pink) To taste
Oil – For seasoning
Water – As required
Mustard Seeds – 1 Tsp

Method of Preparation: Groundnut / Peanut Chutney
Step 1
Dry roast 1 cup of groundnuts / peanuts on medium flame until it turns golden brown.   


Step 2
Allow it to cool down and remove the skin if needed.
Step 3
Transfer the groundnuts / peanuts to the blender.
Step 4
Add 4-5 Cloves of Garlic, 1 medium sized Onion (chopped), finely chopped Red Chillies, salt and water as required.  

Step 5
Blend to a coarse or smooth paste as per your preference.
 
Step 6
Transfer it to a bowl.  

Step 7
Take a pan for tempering and 2 Tsp of oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves and allow it to splutter.
Step 8
Pour the tempering over the groundnuts / peanuts chutney. 

Your yummy Groundnut / Peanut Chutney is ready to serve!
