Ingredients:
Bitter Gourd: 1 Medium sized, thinly sliced
Tamarind: In the lime size, soaked in water
Turmeric Powder – 1 Pinch
Salt – To taste
Sambar Powder – 2 Tbsp
White Sesame Seeds – 2 Tbsp
To Temper:
Mustard Seeds – ½ Tsp
Oil – 2 Tbsp
Curry Leaves – As required

Powder
Roast sesame seeds and grind it to make a powder.
Method of Preparation: Curry, Sabzi, Gojju
Step 1
Cut the bitter gourd into small pieces.
Step 2
Heat the pan and then add oil as required.
Step 3
Add bitter gourd to the pan.
Step 4
Saute bitter gourd for 4-5 minutes until it gets softer.
Step 5
Keep the bitter gourd aside
Step 6
Take a pan add oil, mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Step 7
Add tamarind water, turmeric powder, sambar powder and jaggery to the
pan.
Allow it to boil for 3-5 minutes.
Step 9
Add sesame powder to it and then add water to get correct consistency.
Step 10
Add fried bitter gourd to it and switch off the flame.
